Mr. Tareen addresses FIEO’s ‘Doing Business with Australia’ Seminar in New Delhi
The Federation of Indian Exporters Organisation (FIEO), India’s apex body of export promotion organisations, invited Mr.AK Tareen to address their members at a Seminar titled ‘Doing Business with Australia’ in New Delhi on 12th June 2014. Sharing his practical experience of being ‘Australia’s Frontline Salesman in India’ for 2 decades during which he facilitated numerous Trade and Investment deals, Mr.Tareen dwelled on the growth and evolution of the bilateral cultural and economic ties since his joining the Australian Government in 1995. He highlighted the opportunities as well as the challenges of doing business with each other and emphasised on the need to continue to nurture people to people ties to promote a better understanding of each other for a more sustainable growth in business. The other speakers at the Seminar included senior officials from the Indian Government’s Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of External Affairs and The Australian High Commission, New Delhi.
