Mr.Tareen leads a high level Indian Investor delegation to Oman
Mr.AK Tareen led a high power Indian investor delegation to Oman to participate in the 2 day ‘Oman India Investment Meet’ in Muscat organised by Madayn jointly with AKT Strategic Consulting LLP. The delegation consisted of 35 prequalified CXOs across 12 industry sectors and from 9 Indian cities keen to explore investing into Oman. Top decision makers from the USA and UAE also joined this meet.
AKT was involved right from conceptualisation of this business event to designing the format, program, speakers marketing, facilitating visas and briefing the Oman government. Mr.Tareen delivered a special address at the Meet and moderated the interactive session with the Minister, senior officials of the ministry, Captains of Omani Industry and The Media.
Several new investment opportunities were identified and discussed during the 2 days program that included both formal meetings as well as informal interactions over lunches and dinners. The key areas of interest were Construction, Renewable energy, Food processing, IT, education and training, battery operated vehicles, mining and health care. The delegation also called on the Indian Ambassador in Oman who was extremely generous and hospitable in hosting them at the Embassy and briefing them on the real opportunities in Oman.
The Omani media extensively covered the event which was probably unique in terms of such a large number senior Indian decision makers with prequalified interest gathering in Muscat.
