AKT organizes roadshow for Oman in Australia
AKT Strategic Consulting organised a highly successful roadshow for Oman across Australia covering Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. The high level team was led by the CEO of Public Establishment for Industrial Estates which is The Sultanate of Oman’s government arm to create world class industrial infrastructure and attract international investments. The objective was to seek new investments as well as tie ups with Universities and Vocational education and training institutes to partner in skill development of local Omanis.
AKT was given the mandate to project manage the entire roadshow right from strategic advice, logistics, identifying the decision makers and arranging meetings, organising addresses and interaction with key industry bodies.
The Roadshow resulted in promoting Oman as an attractive investment destination for Australians looking for a manufacturing or service base in the middle east and cater to the growing markets in the gulf as well as north africa. A number of new investors as well as educational and training service providers were identified. The next few weeks will see a number of Australian senior officials and business persons undertaking undertaking preliminary visits to Oman.
Mr.Tareen who accompanied the Omani delegation said “ Given the absence of Australian Embassy or even a trade office in Oman and vice versa, there is little mutual awareness and the huge potential that exists for exchange of trade and investments. Therefore, this visit was historic in the sense that it has kick started a process of exchange of senior people, ideas and business opportunities.
