Mr.Tareen interacts with Tradewinds delegation led by US Secretary for Commerce Mr.Wilbur Ross
Our Founder Chairman Mr.AK Tareen had the privilege of being invited by the United States Government to participate in ‘TradeWinds Indo Pacific Forum and Mission 2019 – the largest annual American business mission to India on the 7th of May 2019. He also attended a special Reception hosted by The US Ambassador to India Mr.Kenneth I Juster.
The Secretary for Commerce of The United States Mr.Wilbur Ross led this most high profile delegation that was organised by the US Commercial Service. He gave a special address highlighting the challenges of doing business with India and the high import barriers that exist for American goods and Services leading to US trade deficit .The Indian Minister for Commerce and Industry Mr.Suresh Prabhu also addressed the mission that was attended by several senior Indian bureaucrats as well.
Mr. Tareen met and interacted with several US businesses that were seeking advice and assistance in expanding into the Indian market. Many of these businesses have shown keen interest to work with AKT Strategic Consulting to devise India strategies and identify local partners.He also met with several senior US commercial diplomats based in the US and across the Indo -Pacific region who were in full attendance to share market intelligence in their regions.
